Wedding Bells (Fall & Winter)

He was surrounded by cupcakes, both on stage and off, prepared by cake designer Lori Hutchinson, in flavours like matcha green tea and vanilla bean.  A red-light-affair - slash - fifth-birthday-party needs a little sugar.

Dining & the arts (Spring 2008)

Lori uses only premium fresh pure ingredients - butter, vanilla beans, rich Belgian chocolate and cocoa.  Everything on her cakes is edible from the tiniest apple blossom to the ribbon of sugar that looks like a purse strap or a wee gold medallion - all edible, all beautifully crafted, each unique.

I had fallen in love with a cake I had seen in a magazine just before my husband and I got married. The design was perfect and really suited our personality.
  My best friend Kim reminded us that her sister "Lori" was now decorating cakes and offered as a wedding gift to purchase the cake for us.  I was unaware of Lori's abilities, and thought that no matter what the cake looked like the sentimental value of Lori and Kim contributing to our wedding was all that mattered.  Little did I know how beautiful my gift was going to be.
  Our wedding day arrived and so did our cake.  It was like nothing I had ever seen, the precision and detail where far superior to the cake I had seen in the magazine.  Not only did it wow our guest visually, but it was also the best cake I have ever had in my entire life.

Lori created a beautiful cake, for our wedding.  Not only was it perfect in every way but Lori went out of her way to please both my husband and myself.  Lori created elegant edible white roses cascading down the cake witch itself was all chocolate with hand rolled chocolate wrapped around each tier.
  It was everything we had asked for and more.  Thank you Lori for helping to make our day one to remember.
